In The Name Of Allah
"When Allah's succor and triumph cometh and thou seest mankind entering the religion of Allah in troops", Allah says in the Holy Quran.
So, today Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world. There are many reasons why it became so popular and beloved among the people, but the most important one was the 0/11 attack. Before that event Islam was unknown but even it was predicted as a prejudice and strict religion and was blamed on terrorist attacks by mass Medias, so that the masses got malevolence and were thinking negatively about it.
Because they've believed that if they didn't follow this way of denunciations, their absurd and mutilated faith, as trinity and the other conflictions in the Bible, would be revealed. But in spite of those activities that still being kept, the truth is going to be revealed itself.
Also after the 9/11 attacks people were attracted to the Holy Quran, they had heard of Quran and its teachings to peace and reconciliation, so they started reading the Quran and paying more attention on it. Today 230000 people are converting Islam daily. And one of the countries, which are influenced by Islam, is Brazil, the largest country in Latin America. Although there are no official statistics, the Muslim population in Brazil is estimated to be approximately 1 million people, with a total population of more than 170 million.
Brazilian converts make up for not more than 1% of this number, about 10000 people. It was argued that its slow growing was caused by strong influence of the Catholic Church. Brazil is considered to be the largest Catholic country in the world. However, a closer look proves that this is not true despite its strong presence; Catholicism has been losing followers in Brazil to other religions. And the other reason for Islam not to have grown enough in this country was due to the Latin culture. But Brazilians are by nature, very religious and have in the past been as easy prey to all sorts of innovative religious movements.
So, there are some problems for new converts in Brazil. Due to lack of experience in the religion, there are normal mistakes and as the matter of fact the right teachings are not easily available to new converts. They have to fight alone against the criticism of their family, relatives and friends. There is also another problem-the lack of good books about Islam available in the Portuguese Language. It is been said that a Portuguese or Spanish navigator discovered Brazil 500 years ago. More and more historians, both Muslim and non-Muslims, are becoming aware of the strong Muslim presence in the early Americans.
Many evidence of the Muslim presence in Brazil, including inscriptions with the name of Allah, have been found. In the language of the Native Americans seem to have Arabic origins. If all this information is confirmed and introduced officially as part of Brazilian history, it means that faithful Muslims were the first ones to discover Brazil more than 500 years ago. And also Muslim slaves brought from Africa, caused more influence of the Islamic culture in Brazil.
